A Purpose-driven Blog
In John 7:37, it is recorded, ” In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.” Jesus there identified Himself as the one true source and the solitary fountainhead of all satisfaction.
Therefore, in light of this fact, we have determined to post excerpts from Bible verses, historic sermons, contemporary sermons, and audio and video from men of God who have been called to minister this “Living Water” to the sheep of God’s flock.
We will attempt to not post things which are exclusively designed to complain about or mock the elements of Christendom which has departed from the historic Christian faith (there’s a lot of it out there), rather, we will attempt to build up the TRUE church by providing those things that edify and strengthen. There are lots of resources on the web that will point out the many false teachings and wolves in sheep’s clothing. We’ll leave that responsibility to those people who run those sites. They seem to be doing a thorough job of it.
So, we’ll kick things off with the following from R. C. Sproul. Though I don’t endorse Sproul’s doctrinal position on many things, I did find this video to be encouraging.
